Stop Anne Geddes
With the recent furore and outrage surrounding Bill Henson's art, Australia is finally having the long awaited debate about child exploitation.
Enough is enough!
But let's not stop at Henson - there is more work to be done... for the children.
For too long stationers have been peddling this filth. Forget art galleries, it is time to take a stand against book shops and news agents alike.
For more word on the campaign see Stop Anne Geddes

And the winner SHOULD have been...
Well isn't Mr Wogan in a tizz about the voting.
The Eastern Block voting may have given the trophy to Russia but it wasn't the Uk who was robbed. Georgia to my mind, had this year's winning entry.
Hats off also to Spain and Latvia for superb entries!
DO THE ROBO- COP! Perrea! Perrea!

For many, Eurovision is a season of jealosy and hate. But per chance why?
Per chance because not dislike the EU, many countries are excluded from the vast frivolity and wealth that comes from THE SONG CONTEST.
Blame geography.
Blame whatever and whoever you so choose - for the curse of Australia's position will always exclude the locals from voting in the world's greatest contest. Though excluded from the democratic process of the contest, Australians are not altogether forgotten. As all good sports people know - one may be able to find themselves very much a part of the covetted contest if one can find a way to swear allegiance outside one's own flag.
Allow me to illustrate.
The year was 1996.
The dreamer a young woman from Brisbane, Gina G.
I doff my cap to the woman that dared to dream and in realising said dream opened up the world and built a bridge to the West.
